Our Story
Founded in 2001 by Kari and Mike Felton, Xanadu Equine has been at the forefront of equestrian care and training, combining decades of experience with a passion for whole-horse wellness.
With over 40 years of combined experience in the equestrian world, Kari and Mike have established themselves as leaders in advanced equine care, offering services that prioritize the health, performance, and development of every horse they work with.
Meet The Founders
Kari Felton
Kari’s equestrian journey began at just six years old. Her impressive career spans multiple disciplines, including hunter/jumpers, western pleasure, western dressage, and classical dressage. Her dedication to equestrian excellence is reflected in her extensive training under renowned professionals such as George Morris, Beezie Madden, Lisa Wilcox, and Scott Hassler.
Kari continues to clinic regularly with Martin Kuhn of StarWest and Cindy Ishoy.

Kari's expertise extends beyond the saddle, as she has also worked as a veterinary technician, equine nutrition specialist, and therapeutic riding instructor. She is deeply committed to the holistic care of horses, excelling in stable management, young horse development, and breeding program consultation.
Mike Felton
Mike has been a Certified Journeyman Farrier with the American Farrier’s Association (AFA) since 2002. He specializes in corrective, preventative, and performance shoeing, collaborating closely with veterinarians to provide tailored solutions for every horse’s unique needs.
Mike’s precision and dedication have made him a trusted name in the farrier community for over two decades, ensuring the soundness and well-being of every horse he works with.
